Divisions

Divisions are grouped by age and skill level and may be merged depending on registration numbers:

• 18+ Open Division
• 30+ Division 

30+ players who prefer a faster-paced game may choose to play in the 18+ division. 

Schedule

Every Legends team is scheduled at least nine games this season, capped off with an exciting end-of-season playoff!

Fall Tentative Schedule (Subject to change):

Please stay flexible, as playoff dates may shift earlier or later than first planned.

Season Cost

Individual Player Registration

18+ Division: $233 registration fee. This reduced rate helps make the division more accessible for players 25 and under. 

30+ Division: $260 registration fee.

 

Team Registration

Team registration is a flat fee — $3,380 for 30+ teams or $3,081 for 18+ teams — no matter how many players you carry:

• More players, lower cost per player, and easier to cover no-shows
• No need for free agents; play with fewer than 15 if you'd like

The site's host charges a 3% service fee. Avoid it entirely by paying with a check made out to Legends Baseball. Must be received at least two weeks before the season starts.

A $45 out-of-county fee applies to non-Fairfax/Prince William residents; Legends subsidizes the rest of the county's facility charge.

 

Field Locations

Field locations have not been finalized, but games will likely be played at the following sites:

Fairfax County: Madison High School, Edison High School, Lewis (formerly Lee) High School, South County Secondary

Prince William County: Veterans Park, Leitch Park, and Pfitzner Stadium (as available)

Game Times

Games are played almost exclusively on Sundays. Start times vary by schedule, typically 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or 3:00 p.m., and occasionally 6:30 p.m.

 

Uniforms

Most teams supply their own. Players purchase directly from the team. 

Free, gently-used jerseys and pants are available to any player who needs them — no cost, no catch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an incentive for bringing a friend who's new to Legends?

Yes — you'll earn a $50 credit toward next season. Just let us know at the time of registration.

How do I get placed on a team?

Free agents are placed based on their registration answers (position, skill level, etc.), balancing team strength across the league.

Can I play with friends?

Yes — just note this on your registration.

Are there team practices?

Most teams don't hold practices. If you're new to Legends, we recommend hitting the batting cages or finding a friend to throw with before the season starts.
